Curriculum Vitae

I graduated in law and social sciences from Sciences po Paris (BA/MA), the Sorbonne (MA/PhD), Columbia University (MPA), Yale Law School (LL.M.) and the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Habilitation). I am also admitted to practice law in Paris and New York.

I wrote two books on the theory of international arbitration (L’arbitrage international ou le droit contre l’ordre juridique, Paris, LGDJ, 2011 and The Evolution of International Arbitration, Oxford, Oxford University Press, 2017). I am finalising a third book on The Limits of Private Governance: Norms and Rules in a Mediterranean Fishery (Oxford, Hart Publishing, forthc 2021).

I was awarded the Alexandre Varenne Prize (Legal Theory) in 2011 and the Médaille de Bronze of the Centre national de la recherche scientifique in 2018 for my research.
